In the spring time, portions of Ark trails (near Arkabutla lake in North Mississippi) sometimes flood as a result of heavy rains. This flooding imports floating waste onto the property while making the trails impassible.
We are working on a solution: An additional alternate trail, called the “Highland trail,” which would allow hikers to traverse a complete loop on the Ark trail site, even in times of flooding in lower areas of the property.

How do I find the new Highland Trail?
Been trying to find some places to explore around here with my daughter. Need to check this trail out for sure!
