My preference and delight here may be quite trifling. Alderaan is a beautiful, snowy, rugged planet that is just “loverly dahling!” Lots of royalty here and the storyline includes the Organa household.
With that said, I am enthralled by the manta-like thranta mounts used by the taxi system on the planet. Talking about graceful AND a refreshing surprise to travel on a marine-like mammal at a mountainous, coniferous locale! The vistas from the mount above the landscape are breathtaking! Alderaan is a pleasant, beautiful planet exhibiting an abundance of lore and intrigue.
