I love anoles! Did you take this? I did not know they live around here. I have only found blue-tailed skinks in DeSoto. I used to live in GA and anoles were everywhere there, I had some as pets actually. Cool little things!

I found this anole in Jackson, Mississippi, basking on the sidewalk. Green anoles are my fave, and I never found them in Tennessee but I did start seeing brown anoles. I used to own anoles but I now like to appreciate them as I continue life in the concrete jungle. My only regret is that I am sure my presence must be truly terrifying to the anoles I find in the wild.
